Seniors

The psychogerontology or psychology of the elderly is the branch of psychology specialized in the study and treatment of the psychological health of the elderly.

It includes the study, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of cognitive abilities that can be impaired or altered with ageing.

Ageing is part of the life cycle of people and is considered as the third stage of life, in which cognitive deterioration begins.

Normal or optimal ageing refers to the physical, psychological, emotional and social conditions of people when they reach this stage of life, from the age of 65, without relevant functional impairments.

We regularly organize workshops, talks and trainings according to the specific needs of each organization.

Most frequent reasons for consultation:

  • Dementia
  • Cerebrovascular pathology (CVA or stroke)
